About Rachel… As a seasoned professional in higher education, I’ve spent over a decade navigating the complexities of higher education policy, processes and politics. My passion for fostering more equitable access to learning and development opportunities has taken me from widening access for applicants to higher education to empowering those often overlooked within – everyone not on an academic contract. I’m a firm believer in the transformative power of professional development, particularly for the dedicated staff who play a vital role in supporting students and shaping the future of higher education. By creating authentic inclusive spaces for dialogue and self-discovery, I aim to empower professional services staff and neglected managers to navigate the ever-evolving higher education landscape and claim their intellectual, professional space. Whether through writing, mentoring, workshops, research, or public speaking, I’m committed to inspiring and supporting others in their professional journey. Together we will redefine what it means to be a professional in higher education. We are not ‘just the admin’. Upcoming free workshops:
